(this is why LeBron is MVP: http://kb24overrated.com/2008_mvp_race_kobe_vs_lebron) LeBron is the youngest to score 10,000 points by a mile. He wears #23 in honor of the former #23 in Chicago Michael Air Jordan. Jordan's legacy now lives on in the proper fashion, in the good hands of LeBron James. I now declare LeBron James to be the best "MJ inspired" player in the NBA. Kobe had held that title until 05-06 when LeBron put up 31+ppg 7+reb 6+ast 48% shooting and his defense wasn't exactly embarrasing. LeBron will have a season where he averages 35+ppg 8+reb 8+ast 2+stl 1+blck 48+%fg when he peaks out. LeBron is on the threshold of having a 30+ 8+ 8+ season right now on the back of great defense, improved shooting skills and an efficient all around game. LeBron handles the ball more than any 3 in the NBA and he has less turnovers than most starting 2's. The fact that people still don't consider LeBron to be the best is proof that you are not watching him intensely. Sportscenter and 7 minute youtube videos will not give you a proper perspective. Most of those videos only show you scoring. Dallas Movie: Madden NFL 09 Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles

Madden NFL 09 Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles The rewind and backtrack features are two new Madden features that bring an entirely new dimension to gameplay. The rewind feature is essentially a football mulligan that lets you try a play over again if it fails. You can rewind any play, whether on offense or defense; however, as we found out, the CPU will not necessarily run the exact same play again when on offense. For example, we were defending a goal-line stand against the Steelers during one game, when Pittsburgh ran a sweep left with Willie Parker that resulted in a touchdown. After rewinding the game to try the play over again, we cheated our linebackers to the left, but the Steelers adjusted and put Parker up the middle, a clear case of the game being cleverer than the player. Rewind is an interesting feature, but it's easy to see how using rewind too much could be tempting. Luckily you'll be able to set the maximum number of times you can use the rewind in the game (or turn it off altogether). The new backtrack feature seems more like a legitimate teaching tool in Madden 09. Here, the game will give you a full breakdown of a play that you blew, complete with on-field graphics and voice-over explanation from Madden 09 color analyst Cris Collinsworth (one half of the Madden play-by-play team, which also includes Tom Hammond). These backtrack moments will happen during one of three scenarios: 1) If you thrown an interception when another receiver is open; 2) If your quarterback is sacked when an open receiver is available; 3) If you make a bad play call. Further, a "bad play call" is defined as a pass defense going up against a run offense, or a run defense going up against a pass offense that results in a big play. The amount of information shown during these backtrack segments is impressive, including breakdowns of all of the players involved in the play and percentages of success that a particular play had for succeeding. If you pay attention to everything Collinsworth has to say about the play, you'll have a good understanding of what you did wrong so that you might avoid that same mistake in the future.

Dallas Movie: Terrell Owens vs Adam "Pacman" Jones

T.O double moves and beats Adam Pacman Jones making the crowd go wild. OXNARD, Calif. - Despite the Cowboys having 80 players on the practice field here Sunday, at times it seemed as if it was just a battle between a wide receiver and a cornerback. And not just any battle, but the one for which most of the fans out here in Oxnard have been waiting. In fact, the fans actually provoked quite a scene here during the afternoon practice. Terrell vs. Adam. Owens vs. Jones. T.O vs. Pacman. Anyway you slice it, this is what the fans wanted to see and the two didn't disappoint. And on this day, Owens got the best of Jones. In fact, he got the best of just about every cornerback. Owens caught several big passes and it seemed he was streaking to the end zone just about every time. Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips jokingly opened his press conference Sunday by stating Owens received a "practice game ball." But it was Owens' performance in the one-on-one battles with Jones that struck up the most attention. One of the best moments of camp so far occurred in the one-on-one passing drills when Owens trotted out to the left side of the field, where Jones was waiting for the battle. Before the two got to the line of scrimmage, the crowd began to roar with anticipation. Jones then pumped his arms up in the air to ignite the crowd even more. But sensing that a moment was about to take place, quarterback Tony Romo had to get into the act, too. With third-string quarterback Richard Bartel about to take the snap, Romo tapped him on the shoulder and replaced him for this play, only adding to the excitement. When the actual play finally got underway, Owens and Jones battled at the line of scrimmage before the receiver got about 10 yards down the field. He then made a double-move on the cornerback and went streaking to the post where he hauled in the perfectly-thrown pass from Romo, a good three or four yards in front of Jones. The crowd ate it up, and loved it even more when Owens ran back towards the huddle with his hand cupped by his ear, asking for more noise from the fans. "Well, it's about pitch and catch for me and Tony," Owens said. "Just basically running and reacting." As for his battle with Jones, Owens said he thrives on the competition, but that he expects to win. "It's all about competition and we know going into practice, there's going to be some battles," Owens said. "Obviously, with Adam, it's going to be DB against receiver, so it's all in fun, and we're just trying to come out here and practice and get each other better. "Like I told you guys the other day, the majority of reps, anything that's going to happen between me and Adam, I'm going to get the best of him." And he certainly did. Even Jones admitted that. "Oh yeah, he got me on that double move today," Jones said. "I knew he was going to do a double move, though, but I thought he was going to do an out-and-up, and as soon as he saw me turn, he went inside me. But he's a great player. I'm just out here learning and having a good time." Jones said he wants to face Owens as much as possible, and even tries to make sure he times it just right in practice to face the Cowboys' No. 1 receiver. "I always want to face the best. That's how you get better," Jones said. "I think I'm doing pretty good against him. I think I won the whole day yesterday (Saturday). He won today. I'll win tomorrow." - Nick Eatman DallasCowboys.com Staff Writer
