What is Freddie up to these days? Go have a look at all the sweet new stuff he's putting up on his youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/freddiew I was only able to catch the last half, but here it is for friends who want to see what our favorite guitar hero has been up to these past few days. This performance got him a 26/30, beating his competitor Priest by one point, winning him 1st place in the Dallas competition. Sorry for the lame watermark.

Cable access never ceases to amaze me. On network stations, if a program has a little glitch, or sound problems, it isn't broadcast. It's marked "unsuitable for airing," is reshot, or disposed of. But on public access?! Anything goes.. Like this show, for example. It was an hourlong showcase of R&B groups from Dallas, filmed in a dingy club in Dallas.. in this clip, we see the Hunt Brothers performing an old Freddie Jackson tune. Which is fine and everything.. I'm a huge fan of tacky local R&B performers (even though i'm a white, goth/punk hooligan) so things seem okay.. should be a decent show.. But the TAPE IS FUCKED UP & BARELY WATCHABLE! Seems whoever filmed the show was trying to mack on tha ladiez afterwards, and while trying to impress some slutty broad, he spilled vodka all over the tape. The person who payed for cable access airing rights had the NERVE to air this, even though the quality is HIDEOUS! Just watch this video.. I've only posted a quick sample.. the WHOLE FUCKING SHOW is JUST like this! If this was MY show, i'd be too embarrassed to air it.. but nooo.. And I'm sure the Hunt Brothers told all their friends to watch the show, probably had a little party, invited friends, family, girlfriends to watch their performance, and were furious when they saw THIS! Gotta love cable access ;)
