Almost any night of the week, transgendered performers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are using drag shows inside local restaurants and taquerias to break taboos as well as social and cultural barriers. The popular shows are packed with families, couples and other people who come to watch celebrity imitations. This video and three biographies comes from Al Dia, Dallas' leading Spanish-language newspaper. It features members of the transvestite group Gaby's Illusions, who perform at El Ceviche Loco seafood restaurant in Dallas' Pleasant Grove area every Friday night.
